I’m an IT leader who has delivered secure, reliable technology for a venue hosting 500,000+ patrons, built AI agents and automations that streamline real business processes, and led security programmes through the ASD Essential Eight. My skills span IT Security, Microsoft 365, Azure, Identity, Managed Services, Development and Agile Product Management, Networking and Cloud.

I have hands-on experience building AI automation and agents with OpenAI and Anthropic Claude, including system integrations, data and process enrichment, and AI-assisted code development.

I have 20+ years experience in managing Teams, working in and with Executive teams and project Stakeholders.

Implementation of an n8n solution including workflows for automating various business processes and integrations.

ThreatLocker Implementation

ThreatLocker was implemented across Workstations, Azure and On-Premise servers for Application Whitelisting, Storage Control and Elevation Management, fulfilling Essential Eight requirements.

SharePoint and Content Governance

Development of Retention and Sensitivity Labelling Policies and processes. Workshopping and consultation with Stakeholders, Implementation of data cleansing via PowerShell scripts.

FortiSwitch Deployment

Migration from legacy Cisco switching with the deployment of FortiSwitches across a 17 Hectare site improving visibility of devices, ease of management and increased reliability.

Essential Eight (ASD8) Audit and Remediation

Considerable experience both providing Essential Eight reviews and implementing remediation of Essential Eight issues for Microsoft Desktop, Server and Microsoft 365 environments.

Microsoft 365 and desktop hardening

Development and Implementation of processes, policies, controls and training for hardening desktops, networks and Microsoft 365 services to be ransomware and phishing resistant.

Consulting and defining Development programme standards relating to coding, implementation, security, availability and performance.

Melbourne Royal / Showgrounds

Delivering secure and reliable IT Infrastructure and services for the Royal Show, Agriculture and Epicure Competitions. Exposure to high volume networking, CCTV and wireless in a large venue for events with 500,000 patrons. Innovation in services including strong security standards and controls, print, phone, conferencing, flexible meeting rooms, ticketing, service desk, web experiences and digital signage.

GitHub and Projects

Development of Open Source applications and scripts. ITAdmin Scripts includes PowerShell code for automating common IT Tasks, BorisCodeStatus a Windows tray app showing Claude Code's status and usage quota with an optional ESP32 display, and BorisHelloAnchor for keeping the Windows Hello prompt on the laptop's internal display.

Biotech IT Service Delivery @ Exigence

Service Management and Lifecycle, People management, Incident Management, Product Management and technical implementation of management tooling and security controls.

Chief Architect – Pharmacy @ Fred IT Group

Providing Technical Architecture, guidance and leadership for internal product development teams as well as key customer projects. Design and implementation of a multi-tenant Web Authentication and Authorisation solution leveraging Azure AD and Microsoft Azure AD Security Centre and utilizing Conditional Access Policies and MFA. Design and Development of Common Data Model (CDM) extending Dynamics AX allowed AX to scale up and out heavily utilizing Azure PAAS services.

Chief Information Security Officer (NPDR) @ Fred IT Group

Overseeing the IT Security for a major project that requires a Baseline security clearance. Involvement in the design and project scoping with NEHTA and DoD representatives. Operationally as the CISO, Technical Architecture and Lead Engineer to deliver ISM compliance.

General Manager IT Infrastructure and Services @ Fred IT Group

Responsible for Fred’s internal IT Management and strategy, Managed Services for Retail Pharmacy clients delivering Fred’s private cloud based on Hyper-V and VMWare, LAN / WAN and telecommunications infrastructure; as well as initiating Fred’s transition to Office 365, Skype for Business and Azure based services.
